Document Reader

Convert Word to PDF

Convert a Word document (.docx or .doc) to PDF for free in your browser. Fonts, pictures and page breaks are kept. The file is never uploaded.

Free. No account. The file stays on your device.

Turn a Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every device. Headings, tables, pictures, headers and footers and page numbers are rendered page by page, then saved as a PDF you can send, print or sign.

Because the document is rendered in your browser, there is no queue and no upload. It works for .docx, .doc, .odt and .rtf, and the same converter also turns Excel and PowerPoint files into PDF.

How it works

  1. Tap Convert a Word file, then choose Word to PDF in the File Conversions list.
  2. Pick the document. Each page is laid out and rendered.
  3. Open the PDF in the viewer, sign it, protect it or download it.

Why Document Reader

Questions

Does it keep my fonts?

The document is rendered with the fonts available on your device; a missing font is replaced by the closest one, as Word itself does.

Can I convert Excel or PowerPoint to PDF too?

Yes. Excel to PDF and PowerPoint to PDF are in the same File Conversions list.

Is the conversion private?

Yes. Nothing is uploaded; the PDF is built on your own device.
