Document Reader

Scan a document to PDF

Scan paper with your phone camera straight to PDF: edge detection, straightening, black-and-white filter and multi-page scans. Free, nothing to install.

Start scanningGet the Android app

Free. No account. The file stays on your device.

Use your phone or laptop camera as a scanner. Point it at the page, the edges are detected, the page is straightened and cleaned up, and every page you take is added to one PDF. Scans can then be signed, compressed, OCR-ed or shared.

Nothing is uploaded: the camera frames stay on your device and the PDF is built there. Add the site to your home screen and it behaves like a scanner app.

How it works

  1. Tap Start scanning and allow the camera.
  2. Capture each page; adjust the corners if needed and pick colour, grayscale or black-and-white.
  3. Save the PDF, then sign it, run OCR or share it.
