PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and image files you open are processed in your browser and stored only in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB). They are never uploaded to our servers, with one exception below.
If you use an AI feature (summary, questions, flashcards, AI document creator), the text you choose to send is transmitted to our AI service at api.mobileups.org to produce the answer. It is not kept for any other purpose.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to count visits and which kinds of actions are used (for example the type of file opened, such as "pdf", and the name of a tool). File names and contents are never sent. Analytics uses an anonymous identifier stored in your browser. It is switched off if your browser sends "Do Not Track". You can clear it by clearing this site's data.
The site keeps your files, settings, language choice and reading position in your browser so it works offline. Clearing site data removes all of it.
